Coopers has been serving Londoners from 82 Fetter Lane since the early 1980s, when it opened as a small sandwich bar under Italian ownership. It quickly built a loyal following for its honest food, generous portions, and friendly atmosphere.
In 2023, Coopers entered a new chapter with a London based owner from Madeira, who brought a touch of Portuguese heritage to the offering, including a selection of traditional pastries.
Today, Coopers remains a sandwich bar at heart focused on fresh ingredients, familiar faces, and a warm, welcoming space for regulars and newcomers alike. We’re proud to be part of London’s diverse food scene and a steady part of daily life on Fetter Lane.
